Hans Alexandersson, CTO
Since early 1970s Mr. Hans Alexandersson has been working within construction of equipment and plants, in plant projects and also in the start-up phase of several plants for production of equipment for polymer materials (plastics). In years 1972–1982 he worked for Uponor – a large Swedish manufacturer of pipes and system solutions for sewage, wastewater and energy production (heat pump systems). In 1982 he founded Rörknallen AB where – together with his partner – he developed and patented the first geothermal collector made 100% of polymer material. This revolutionized the sector, as it replaced earlier collectors made of stainless steel, which were both more expensive and less reliable (leakages). In years 1991–2001 Mr. Alexandersson was active in two companies producing and supplying pipes and other components/products from polymer materials used to recover geothermal energy – Solarec AB and Aquatech AB.
Finally, in 2001 Hans Alexandersson, together with his son Jonas and daughter Linda, started a new company, Pemtec AB, focusing on manufacturing polyethylene pipes and developing new, innovative products in the area of the recovery of geothermal energy. Hans Alexandersson has a strong entrepreneurial drive – he has started and owned several companies and has held different managerial positions. He is an innovator, always with new and interesting ideas to solve different problems. He is the initiator of several patents and new patent applications to come.
Hans Alexandersson has broad knowledge about polymer materials when it comes to production, development and use for different applications. In Sweden he is considered as one of the most knowledgeable experts within GSHP sector. He has mainly worked with reinforced fiberglass, polypropylene and polyethylene where his knowledge and experience is very strong.
Jonas Alexandersson, Head of Production
Mr. Jonas Alexandersson has started and developed a number of companies within the pipe and energy sector already since early 1990s. The first one was Solarec AB, which he developed together with his father – Mr Hans Alexandersson. His responsibility was to supervise the production process as well as to modernize and expand it through a construction of new production lines. Finally, in 2001 he set up Pemtec AB, together with his father Hans and sister Linda, and since then has held the position of head of production. Mr Jonas Alexandersson has completed technical training in plastic extrusion and has a very thorough technical knowledge in the pipe/collector industry.
